PMDT SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER – INDONESIA REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE

KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation (KNCV) is a leading non-governmental organization working in Global Tuberculosis (TB) Control. KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation has been active in TB control for over one hundred years both in the national and international context. As a non-profit organization KNCV is active in over 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is dependent on subsidies from Government and other sources, as well as private contributions through fundraising. The central office is located in The Hague, The Netherlands.
TB CARE I
The Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical Assistance (TBCTA) carries out the USAID funded TB CARE I project. The objective is to “Decrease morbidity and mortality by increasing case detection and treatment success of pulmonary TB patients in USAID priority countries”. KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is the Prime Partner of TB CARE I.
Responsibilities:
Senior Technical Officer PMDT will prepare the annual work plans and budgets, and assure timely submission of these work plans to the Head of National Technical Services. He/she will plan, maintain and ensure the effectiveness of the use of budget. Furthermore, The Senior Technical Officer PMDT will also be responsible to monitor the overall implementation of work plans in operational areas, identify problems, advise counterpart program managers on necessary corrective actions, follow-up on these actions, and prepare brief visit reports on findings and recommendations. This will include supervise and monitor activities carried out by KNCV Technical Officers in Provincial level in coordination with the respective Provincial Coordinator and assist in problem solving.

To help you perfectly in performing the role, you should ideally have:
Medical Doctor, preferably with hospital back ground,
Medical Doctor, preferably with hospital back ground,
Minimum 5 years experience in TB
control/ program management
Minimum 3 years experience in Public Health
Good managerial skills
