COMMERCIAL MANAGER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for order placement, writing/negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers, terms of purchase and delivery
- Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance.
- Sourcing the most affordable materials / service for the company.
- Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components, equipment and services.
- Delivering cost savings for the company.
- Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company.
- Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Competencies:
- Qualified with at least 5 years' experience in procurement, vendor development
- Preferably from Mining industry
- Regularly achieving cost saving targets.
- Resourceful and well organized.
- Extensive knowledge of purchase order system.
- Deep understanding of the principles of vendor management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and strategic skills.
Personal:
- Male with age around 30 years
- Negotiating skills
- Attention to detail
- Handling critical issues.
- Problem solving.
- Communication and interpersonal relations
- Fluent in English
